Technical Name: Imazethapyr 10.0% SL

Mode of Action: Early post emergence selective and systemic herbicide

Recommendation: Early post emergence herbicide to control selective broad leaved and grassy weeds in soybean and groundnut. Kills the weeds that have emerged as well as the ones that will emerge after a few days. It disrupts protein and DNA synthesis and controls many grasses, broad leaf weeds and sedges. Gives longer weed control due to residual action.

Crops and Targated Weeds:

• Groundnut: Commelina benghalensis, Cyperus difformis, Eragrostis, Erogrostis pilosa, Trianthema portulacastrum
  
• Soybean: Croton sperrsifiorus, Cyperus difformis, E.crusgalli, Echinochloa colonum, Euphorbia hirta, Digeria arvensis

Dosage: 

• Groundnut: 400 - 600 ml/acre
• Soybean: 400 ml/acre
